Flaxseeds are a great source of Omega 3 fatty acids. To regularly consume flax seeds, sprinkle them on your cereal, salads,sandwiches, or put in soups and stews. You can also grind them up and put them in shakes. They taste earthy and slightly nutty. Whole and ground flaxseeds, as well as flaxseed oil, are available throughout the year.
