Health Tip: Avoiding Winter Illness
If you think you are coming down with something, there are steps you can take to maximaze your immune system. Increase your intake of water, zinc, Vitamin C with bioflavanoids, and of course sleep. Eliminate your intake of alcohol, caffeine, sugars, and foods that convert to sugar (grains, juice). Also decrease your food intake so your body can shift its concentration from digestion to the immune system.
