Concept2 is a leading manufacturer of sport-based ergometers, including the world's top indoor rowing machines, SkiErg and BikeErg. The company was founded in 1976 by Dick and Pete Dreissigacker, who were Olympic-trained and started making composite racing oars in the back of a bread truck.
In 1981, Dick and Pete introduced the Concept2 Indoor Rower, which quickly became the world's best-selling rowing machine. They later added the SkiErg, a Nordic ski training machine, in 2009, and the BikeErg, the latest addition to their family of sport-based ergometers, in 2017.
Since its humble beginnings, Concept2 has grown to employ over 60 people in Morrisville, Vermont. They continue to be committed to their philosophy of providing innovative products and programs to customers.
